Summer Events

My sisters and I (excluding one preggs) ran a 5k!!! Woo hoo Sebring sisters!
We went with some of Andy's siblings to Antelope Island for Memorial Day.
It was very fun and the kids had a great time except for all the bites from the gnats!!
Our friends the Groll's love going to the Bees
Hanging out at the Bee's game!
We went to Port Alice, Vancouver Island and vacationed and fished with my sister Heidi and her family. It was a drive, but well worth it.

"The Devil's Bathtub"
View from the apartment
Hiking around Port Alice.... it was beautiful.

I got to see my dear friend Fenima as she was in town for a family reunion!

And last but not least, Maxwell is going to be having a New Year's baby brother!!!

Our Precious Boy Turns One

No year throughout my life has gone as fast as this one has. No year has had as many smiles from watching a little life learn and grow and change. No year has seen as many poopy diapers or sleepless nights :) No year has made me so glad to be alive.
We love you maxwell.

Summer Happenings

It's only been half a year since the last post... But just wanted to catch up on all our summer adventures! Andy, Maxwell and I were able to go to Michigan with Andy's sister Sarah and her family. It was a great vacation and we were able to spend time with 'Grandpa Ed'.

Four Generations of Wright's!

The Lighthouse on the Old mission penninsula. It is VERY pretty

My FABULOUS sis-in-law Sarah :)

Grandpa Ed's sail boat. What a view!!!!

Maxer was a big fan of the sand.

This was Molly's 'surprise birthday party' we had in June while cathy, trent and their kids were out.

Cathy and the kids.

The birthday cake.

A few other happenings that occured this summer:
Maxwell LOVES sleeping with his head covered......

almost as much as he loves oranges.

And finally, a robin built a nest and hatched 4 chicks in our pine tree right in our back yard. It was so neat to see the bright turquiose eggs and the great care that 'mother bird' gave them. Eventually they hatched and we got to watch how the baby birds were fed several times a day by both mom and dad. Andy's sensitive side for animals was revealed throughout this miraculous, fun event we got to take part in!! He was so concerned for them, it was very sweet.
Happy summer days............

Our Little Man

We've been taking so many pictures of our little tyke that we thought it was time to share some of his "greatest hits." He is always so happy when he gets a tub. And he loves to cuddle up in his monster blanket we received from Nate and Jessica.

He made a great Santa.

Whenever he gets too excited to control himself he contorts his body and grabs his hands and squeezes. Lately, he has been giving us great big belly laughs that accompany his body contortions.

He has been much more mellow in his car seat. For awhile crying was automatic whenever we put him in his car seat.
